Awake Sussex County seeks to encourage a passion for Christ through prayer by uniting congregations throughout the Sussex County area in prayer activities and encouraging individual Christians in a lifestyle of prayer.

It is our desire to see the release of the spirit of prayer upon the region of Sussex County, and that it would flow throughout the entire church.

In order to be equiped for the days ahead, we must seek to be extravagant worshipers as well as anointed servants of God. The ultimate goal is to fulfill the Great Commission.

What We Do

Awake Sussex County seeks to establish a
24-hour, regional, inter-denominational prayer ministry modeled after the Tabernacle of David.

David's tabernacle signifies the restoration of God's manifest presence. It is based on the reality that worship, music and intercession flow together in heaven around God’s Throne (Rev 4-5).

This same dynamic was present in what Scripture calls the Tabernacle of David. In 1st Chronicals, King David organized prophetic singers and musicians to lead corporate intercession and worship 24 hours a day in Jerusalem.

Acts 15:16, Amos 9:11 declares that God will again raise up the Tabernacle of David in the context of gathering the Great Harvest of new believers at the end of the age. This suggests that a global intercessory worship movement will be in full force during when the Lord returns.

Awake Sussex County/Worship Without Walls is a monthly intercessorory worship and to wake up Sussex County to prayer. We meet on the second Friday of each month, at 8:00pm.
